Yes. Yoga has a very powerful effect on digestion and elimination systems. Many postures and techniques stimulate the digestive and hepatic functions as well as the intestinal transit. A regular practice of yoga allows to partially or completely solve many digestion or elimination disorders. Of course, the quality and the quantity of the food ingested also plays an important role at this level and it might be necessary to modify one’s diet in order to reduce what tends to make the body heavy.
